«ASSOCIATIVE TAGS» AS A PEDAGOGICAL TECHNIQUE, A TOOL OF SYSTEMATIZATION AND INFORMATION ASSIMILATION FOR A FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDY (THROUGH THE GERMAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine a meaning and methods to use associations as one of mnemonics for teaching a foreign language and to justify the need of the introduction of the specific term «associative tag». 

Methods. The complex of complementary research methods are used in order to achieve the set goal: theoretical (analysis and generalization of research papers); empirical (data collection and storage) and experimental methods (examination and implementation). 

Results and scientific novelty. The article determines a meaning and methods to use associations as one of mnemonics for teaching a foreign language. The specific term as «associative tag» is introduced and explained in terms of a pedagogical method to create a stable and permanent system of associative and semantic links and imaginations being fixed in a memory under the certain information, action or event. 

Practical significance. The study results may be used in direct teaching foreign languages and in theoretical courses.
