GENERAL EDUCATION
The aim of the publication – a description of the approach to the
interpretation of the concept of competence, adequately implements the interaction of social control and education.
Methods. The methods of analysis and synthesis are used.
Results and scientific novelty. The content of the concept of «competence» in personnel management is disclosed. Counterefficiency of interpretations of concept of competence of subject domain of pedagogics and expediency of acceptance of the definitions formulated in the sphere of social management (personnel management) are proved.
Practical significance consists in justification of an approach to the interpretation of competences, which adequately reflects the patterns of interaction of social control and education.
Abstract. The aim of the research is to draw attention of the educational community to the phenomenon of computational thinking which actively discussed in the last decade in the foreign scientific and educational literature, to substantiate of its importance, practical utility and the right on affirmation in Russian education.
Methods. The research is based on the analysis of foreign studies of the phenomenon of computational thinking and the ways of its formation in the process of education; on comparing the notion of «computational thinking» with related concepts used in the Russian scientific and pedagogical literature.
Results. The concept «computational thinking» is analyzed from the point of view of intuitive understanding and scientific and applied aspects. It is shown as computational thinking has evolved in the process of development of computers hardware and software. The practice-oriented interpretation of computational thinking which dominant among educators is described along with some ways of its formation. It is shown that computational thinking is a metasubject result of general education as well as its tool. From the point of view of the author, purposeful development of computational thinking should be one of the tasks of the Russian education.
Scientific novelty. The author gives a theoretical justification of the role of computational thinking schemes as metasubject results of learning. The dynamics of the development of this concept is described. This process is connected with the evolution of computer and information technologies as well as increase of number of the tasks for effective solutions of which computational thinking is required. Author substantiated the affirmation that including «computational thinking » in the set of pedagogical concepts which are used in the national education system fills an existing gap.
Practical significance. New metasubject result of education associated with the formation of personal and professional qualities the persons living and working in the information society is formulated.
REALIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS
The aim of this publication is to familiarize readers with the particularities of training of school teams for the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard (hereinafter – FSES) in the initial stage and considering the features of creating a component of model, namely, program of management training to the introduction of the (FSES). The purpose of the study is to developmethodological bases of construction models of implementation of the Federal state educational standard as a system innovation.
Methods. The theoretical and methodological basis of the investigation involves: concepts of motivation of work and reflexive-humanistic psychology; ideas of contextual and projective training, and also acmeological approach to continuous education of adults.
Results and scientific novelty. The specifics of the program of professional development of shots for education corresponding to modern realities are described. This program assumes preparation of the school teams consisting of heads of the educational organizations, their deputies, methodologists and teachers. Adequate forms of carrying out internal and correspondence occupations with the organization of productive educational activity of listeners are selected; the complex of tasks for course and intersession occupations is developed. Training of listeners according to the developed program is based as the organizational and pedagogical cascade and cluster model combining resident instruction of the managerial personnel in the organizations of system of professional development with their innovative activity in the educational organizations. The course includes some levels: the basic, technological and organizational-activity-based. The basic level assumes development of the maintenance of FSES and development of innovative potential of listeners; technological level – technologies of conducting group work on development of FSES are mastered; organizational-activity-based level – administrative competences of area of intra firm professional development of teachers of an educational complex are developed.
Practical significance. Results of the carried experiment have showed that the cascade and cluster model of intra firm professional development combining through on-campus and distance education modes of preparation and retraining of pedagogical workers can form a basis to administrative strategy at the solution of actual tasks of formation of personal orientations, metasubject, subject design, communicative, reflexive competences at members of school teams and their readiness for independent activity and professional development in the conditions of introduction of FSES of the last generation.
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
The aim of this article is to present the integration process and special pedagogical competence in solving production and pedagogical challenges in the educational organizations and production enterprises engaged in the training of mentors.
Methods. The methods involve the analysis of psycho-pedagogical and methodological literature on the issue; analysis of the Federal State Educational Standards and professional standards; modeling of processes.
Results and scientific novelty. The problems of formation of communicative competence in the preparation of teachers are considered. The characteristic of the formation levels of mentoring such as «mentor-formal»; «mentor-theoretician», a «mentor-coach»; «mentor-adviser»; «mentor-professional» are given. The pedagogical potential of the phenomenon of «mentoring» is disclosed; an innovative way of mentoring within the competence approach is shown. The integrative activity of the teacher in solving production and pedagogical problems is analysed.
Practical significance. The results can be used by trainers and mentors in the formation of communicative competence of students. The implementation of integration model of pedagogical and production tasks will provide the formation of communicative competence as part of vocational training. Using the obtained results can improve the effectiveness of vocational teacher education.
PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH
The purpose of article is identification of an actual problem of psychological science: correlation of crises and a crisis experiences with and orientation of time perspective at the initial stage of training in institution of higher education.
Methods. During the research the following psychodiagnostic methods are applied: the questionnaire of crisis experiences for student by V. R. Manukyan; a questionnaire of time perspective by F. Zimbardo in adaptation of A. Syrtsova, E. T. Sokolova, O. V. Mitina (ZTPI).
Results and scientific novelty. Data on interrelation of crises and crisis experiences with an orientation of temporary prospect are obtained and analysed on the basis of representative selection of students in Novosibirsk State Medical University. Gender distinctions of crises behaviour of students are shown. It is established that temporary prospects «The negative past» and «The fatalistic present» correlate with all the crisis experiences of students at the initial stage of training in higher education institution. The temporary prospect «Future» has the return correlation with crisis experience «absence of the appreciably attractive purposes in the future», and the interrelation with crises is absent. In this regard the author proposes the correction procedure of psychological escort of first-year students.
Practical significance. The research findings can be used by educational psychologists for psychological diagnostics of pupils, to search the reasons of their poor progress, during the developing and correction of programs of psychology and pedagogical escort of first-year students, in particular when writing the program of adaptive training in the centers of psychosocial maintenance of the trainees. Guidelines for a choice of the techniques and methods promoting overcoming of the problems connected with crisis of identity and biographic crises are given.
The aim of the article is to consider the empirical aspects of the development of musical gifted schoolgirls in vocal and choral activities.
Methods. Scientific methods of research (observation, questionnaire, interview, formative experiment, longitude, testing) are used. Data are analyzed using a complex of psychodiagnostic techniques: culture and free intelligence test by R. Cattell; the modified creative test by F. Williams; personal multifactorial questionnaire by R. Cattell. The reliability of the results and the validity of the findings is provided by the use of reliable and proven in the domestic and foreign psychology methods and techniques, using different statistical methods of data processing, the definition of parametric and non-parametric statistical tests (Student’s t-criterion, Spearman’s rank correlation, criterion U-Mann – Whitney, criterion T-Wilcoxon, L-criterion trends Page).
Results and scientific novelty. Results of longitudinal research of development of musical aptitude are presented. Experimental work in which schoolgirls of 8–15 years participated, was carried out on the basis of creative choral collectives of Irkutsk within three years. Features of development of the pupils who are engaged in singing are revealed. It is established that in process of development of specially developed program (comprehension of emotional and semantic aspects of perception of a piece of music, finding of ability to distinguish musical timbres and the general coloring of sounding etc.) analytical and intonation hearing improves under pupils’ age. Regular long singing trainings promote formation of cogitative operations: active development of divergent, rational and logical thinking and intelligence in general, and also acquisition of skills of a self-assessment. Besides, such occupations dispose children and teenagers to emotional responsiveness and spiritual self-improvement.
Practical significance. The research materials can be useful for teachers of the higher school, experts in the field of creativity psychology, post-graduate students, and facilitators of independent activity of trainees at high schools.
CULTUROLOGICAL RESEARCH IN EDUCATION
The aim of the work described in the article is to consider the
problem of philosophical understanding of the art of conflict as a model of dialectical contradictions; to justify prefigures the role of art in relation to theoretical knowledge through a comparison with the individual creative act, which gives the idea of a solution in a figurative and symbolic form; to consider «substantial» artistic conflicts in the drama as a manifestation of antinomic contradictions; to show the resolution of the data «eternal» contradictions in a particular situation by shifting to a qualitatively different semantic level of their perception on the example of catharsis in a new, modern drama, and to emphasize the role of art in education, in the understanding and assimilation of educational material, to learn the profession.
Methods. Solution of the work purpose is carried out by analyzing dramatic works using the method of «slow reading» by D. S. Likhachev, and the technology of didactic design by V. E. Steinberg.
Results. The more than twenty years experience of practice teaching of theatre history and drama theory, theatre criticism at the theatre department (the Ufa State Academy of Arts named by Zagir Ismagilov) for students mastering at theatre critics and directors courses. Developed and tested teaching method to the analysis of drama. The method of training in the analysis of the drama is developed and approved. Features of specifics formation of the concepts «conflict» and «contradiction» in the context of philosophy and art are considered. The main content of the specified concepts, their fundamental difference and a dialectic ratio is disclosed, and their role in the course of knowledge and training is emphasized. The general model of interaction of a contradiction and the conflict is developed.
Practical significance. The article can be interesting and useful to teachers of creative and humanitarian universities, as well as directors, playwrights and theater critics.
PEDAGOGIC OPINION JOURNALISM
The aim of the investigation is to disclose the possible philosophical
conversation with the child.
Methods. The author uses general scientific research methods, including observation and interviews, philosophical analysis.
Results and scientific novelty. The author reveals the essence of philosophical conversations with the child, calls the main reasons for the extinction of the children’s curiosity, illustrating examples of incorrect behavior of adults to communicate with children. It is recommended how to be responsible for children’s issues. The article discusses the main reasons for the extinction of the children’s curiosity by illustrating examples of an erroneous behaviour of adults in dealing with children. It is shown that if the teacher does not find a systematic way to engage children in the essential discussion, the children most likely will not learn how to contemplate seriously. The author gives detailed guidance how to answer children’s questions.
Practical significance. The article may be of interest to parents, teachers, experts in the field of psychology of creativity, post-graduates and organizers of independent activity of students of higher education institutions.
CORRECTIONAL TRAINING
The first part of the article aims to show different models of formation of social skills and technologies of social development of children with autism spectrum disorders used abroad. It aims to summarize and systemize the most promising methods of working with children with ASD, to analyze the researches that verify the efficiency of the technologies and prove the scientific validity of used methods.
Methods. The methods involve theoretical analysis, systematization and summarization of scientific and methodological publications published abroad on the issue of developmen t of social skills in children with ASD.
Results. The most efficient methodical techniques used abroad that had undergone the empirical approbation, which may be included in the process of social-psychological support for children with ASD and their families are defined under conditions of adaptation of such techniques. The most efficient and littleknown in Russia methods of development of social skills in children with ASD are described: video modeling; virtual technologies; technologies of inclusion of peers and parents in the process of socialization of children with autism.
Scientific novelty. All modern foreign developments in the field of social development of children with ASD are summarized for the first time in the presented article; the question about the necessity of scientific validation of practical technologies and verification of the efficiency of the developed methods is raised. It has been shown that scientifically validated data that confirms the usefulness of many foreign methods for children and adolescents with ASD is absent. It has been concluded that translation and validation of some successful methods of socialization of children with ASD are important: video modeling; virtual technologies, possibilities of telecommunication methods.
Practical significance. An overview of the most tested techniques will enhance the knowledge of domestic researches in the field of the most promising models of support of children with ASD and their families. A description of the basic principles and mechanisms of each of these methods, developed by foreign colleagues, will help different specialists (teachers-psychologists, speech pathologists, recreation therapists, teachers of inclusive education).
HISTORY OF EDUCATION
The aim of the publication is the analysis of formation and development of the primary school in the post-reform period in rural areas of the Perm province in terms of its strategic perspective which suggests transition to compulsory primary education as an integral part of the process of creating social and cultural environment of modern times.
Methods. Education is observed in terms of institutional and systemic approaches, and the post-reform stage of its development is analyzed in the context of the modernization theory. Historical-dynamic analysis and comparative-historical method are mostly used when systemizing factual data.
Results. The article reveals basic stages and characteristics of elementary public schools in the Perm province countryside during pre-vseobuch (compulsory education) period. The dynamics of the educational process in reference to the number of schools and enrollments is shown; the scale of the process and the participation of the «zemstvo system» (i.e. district council) and the Orthodox Church in it are estimated. The clergy’s view on parochial schools as a special type of educational institutions is also described. Difficulties faced by public school policy during the implementation of rural compulsory education in the province are marked. It is shown that to achieve total literacy in the rural areas in the pre-revolutionary period was impossible in spite of the accelerated speed of the school education and substantial progress in the organization of the compulsory primary education.
Scientific novelty. Turning to the history of compulsory elementary schools in terms of the «compulsory education paradigm» offers the possibility to set clear criteria for assessing the level of development of the education system and show how the compulsory education environment was formed.
Practical significance. The results of the study and the facts introduced into scientific use can be adopted as a part of academic courses on the history and sociology of education.
CONSULTATIONS
The aim of the study is the description of the main problems of formation of the student’s electronic portfolio in the conditions of realization of Federal State Educational Standards of the Higher Education (FSES of HE).
Methods.Theoretical analysis of scientific literature concerning the subject under discussion; monitoring of existing practices in modern Russian Universities procedures for the formation and maintenance of students electronic portfolio.
Results. The author describes the main problems of the electronic students’ portfolio formation; some ways of solving described problems are offered.
Scientific novelty concludes in the formation of key ideas of the electronic students’ portfolio based on the understanding of requirements of Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education for the results of mastering educational programs. They are the formation of general cultural, general professional and professional competences.
Practical significance. The researching results will become the theoretical basis for the systematic organization of the process of creating and maintaining an electronic students’ portfolio during the whole period of their studying at the university; the researching results can become a basis for methodological developments.
