The non-stability factors of both the global and national type are denoted; the social, personal and economic effects of education are emphasized as being postponed, but affecting both national security and country’s political development. The author outlines the strategic reference points for solving the main problems of educational modernization based on the new generation of the Federal educational standards and integrating the traditional and modern educational technologies.
METHODOLOGY PROBLEMS
The paper looks at the current research in the field of the new qualification system development, procedures and outcomes of devising its elements and their influence on vocational training development. The author takes the methodology of the system analysis in the labor and training spheres as the scientific basis for solving the above problems.
The main emphasis is on the new approach, which provides the comprehensive analysis of the integrated and complete labor process instead of the in-depth analysis of separate specialties. The above approach was developed and applied in the methodological schemes for creating the national qualification framework and professional standards.
The research findings include defining the functions and goals of the new qualification system; methodology tools for its formation; current analysis and immediate tasks of the state policy concerning the given sphere.
The research is aimed at the practical application of the Russian vocational training at all levels in the course of modernization. The necessary methodology basis is given for devising a new structure of vocational training system, as well as the new generation of educational programs meant to meet the demand for the personnel in the modern Russian economy.
The necessity of integrating the approach to labor and training on a new methodological basis is substantiated. The introduction of the new qualification framework should correspond with the changes in the assessment mechanism of training outcomes. The existing legal base of the Russian system of vocational training, unable to correlate the vocational training and economy, should be further developed.
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
The article analyzes the peculiarities and scales of the modern informational outburst, its implications in industrial and vocational training spheres. Simultaneously, along with the growing accumulation of the information data, a considerable part of the recently stored knowledge becomes obsolete. It results in shortening a half-decay period of specialist’s competence and, therefore, requires the cardinal updating of the vocational training system. The logic of information society development brings forth the need for the compulsory higher education and various new forms of further training. Fast growing number of telecommunication facilities and information technologies make it possible to establish the unified chain of vocational training institutions over the Internet and transform the methodology approaches to organization and content of the vocational education. Their libraries tend to turn into powerful informational library centers with fundamentally new functions. The author makes the conclusion that the growing level of people’s education is the fast way to social progress and the life standards rising.
PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH IN EDUCATION
The paper is devoted to the Optimism Theory by Martin Seligman that can be used for creating the model of positive emotional response aimed at improving the effectiveness of educational process. The author shares the idea of the contemporary American psychologist and philosopher regarding the optimism as the acquired skill affecting the students’ academic progress, and recommends developing students’ self-assurance by addressing a situation of success. Such situation is considered as both the leading factor and pedagogic condition, and the technological base for promoting personal optimism.
The educational significance of success is based on its ability to change students’ attitude as the result of personal achievements. The lack of motivation, as the main teaching problem, can be overcome by assisting students in their academic progress and addressing the situation of success.
The pedagogic techniques improving motivation to overcome learning difficulties on the way to success are given providing adolescents with effective assistance and emotional support. According to the author, the situation of success is not a temporary pedagogic tool, but rather a way of achieving optimistic outlook, which allows students themselves to solve complex learning tasks and achieve desired results without pedagogic facilitation.
The article deals with the teachers’ professional mobility as a factor of their readiness for innovative activity. Based on the analysis of psychological and pe- dagogic literature, the essence and structure of the given phenomenon are defined.
The subject of the experimental research compiles the key qualities of profes- sional mobility and their development techniques for vocational training teachers. The aim of the study includes the identification of the key characteristics of the qualities in question. The main methodological idea is defined as follows: the professional mobility formation is the basis of teachers’ productive innovative activity.
The research findings made it possible to identify the components of profes- sional mobility: innovative attitude, creativity, intellectual mobility, extra-normative ac- tivity and communication skills. The research results provide the basis for effective technologies selection for developing teachers’ professional mobility.
TEACHING METHODS
The new context competence system of vocational training requires the system-creating interdisciplinary link. However, the lack of such interrelation between the humanities, social, economic disciplines and professional subjects badly affects the training results. The quality of training process can be improved by introducing the interdisciplinary principle. In this regard, the authors carried out the research aimed at solving the above problem by developing the method of interdisciplinary correlation and analyzing its system-creating basis.
The paper substantiates the possibility of developing students’ technological thinking by means of sports and physical education activity corresponding to a particular professional one according to the universal morphology classification. It is demonstrated that technological thinking can be developed in the context of sports games under several organizational and methodical conditions. One of the proposed conditions concerns the project of a sport game improvement. The given method can find its application in designing the training process related to physical education of students of different profiles.
GENERAL EDUCATION
The paper looks at the issue of the further professional training of educational staff for developing quality management systems. Mastering the qualitative educational practices provides the effective school training quality assessment, as well as optimization of staff, material, technical and financial resources, and consideration of the requirements of educational process participants.
The peculiarities of the quality management penetration into the general educational sphere are analyzed. The factors obstructing the innovative experience spreading are denoted along with the corresponding ways of experimental practices. The content and organizational technological aspects of headmasters and teaching staff readiness for implementing the above innovation in the system of further professional training are defined. The stages of a lyceum readiness for certification of in-school quality management system according to the international standard ISO 9001:2008 are described.
The author points out the necessity of developing the training system for managerial and teaching staff with regard to the person oriented and humanity approach.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION
Using the modern information technologies in educational process is regarded as one of the main directions in training the qualified specialists with systematic engineering thinking. The optimum combination of various educational technologies and computerized resources can improve teaching quality and promote students’ professional level. Taking as an example one of the basic technical disciplines of the engineering training curriculum at a technical higher school, the authors describe the computerized technology facilitating the course design. The technology in question - the «Reduktor» courseware - adapts the complex product of Autodesk –AutoCAD for educational purposes. The above program is the enhanced interface of AutoCAD, linked to the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and the reference data library used for designing the reduction gear. The experimental research, based on the qualimetric approach and continuous diagnostic and prognostic monitoring of the key indices of knowledge acquisition, proves the effectiveness of informational reinforcement of students self-dependent work.
THE HUMANITIES IN EDUCATION
The paper proposes the new approach to educational text selection for the humanities teaching. Its specifics is based on the wide interpretation of educational texts, as the culture texts involved in cognitive learning activity and fulfilling the multiple tasks of the related subjects and personal development. The educational text is taken as a generalized model, its content and structure determining the scheme of a speech cognitive activity, as well as the meaning formation mechanism responsible for understanding and personal development. The texts and tasks selection is oriented on schoolchildren’s understanding with the reference to the psycholinguistic, psychological and hermeneutic approaches; information extraction and interpretation level related to the author’s and student’s context. The given approach could provide the basis for developing and structuring the textbooks content for the humanities subjects.
ЧЕЛОВЕК, КУЛЬТУРА И ОБЩЕСТВО
The paper is devoted to the spiritual revival of modern Russia. In the author’s view, the Russian Idea with its basic principles, moral, spiritual and semantic concepts should provide the guidelines for education, upbringing and the youth policy, guaranteeing the spiritual transformation and mobilization of the moral power for the benefit of the motherland, local society and family, as well as the personal growth. The theoretical and methodological bases for developing and implementing the above idea could be found in Russian national religious and philosophic thinking with its balanced dialectics of spiritual and social aspects.
The experience of the ideal-realism, as the leading trend of the national spiritual culture, is being analyzed and summarized. The correlation between the ideal and material in social and individual life is demonstrated along with the dialectics and wholeness of the divine and human, religious and secular, ecclesiastical and civil.
The author addresses the philosophic heritage of I. A. Ilyin, V. S. Solovyev, S. N. Trubetskoy, S. N. Bulgakov, N. A. Berdyayev, N. O. Losskiy etc, and regards spirituality as the basic defining, systematic and leading origin of the whole socio-historical process including human being formation and development, education and upbringing.
The paper is devoted to the issue of predicting the future. While creating the future image of the mankind as a whole, and Russia in particular, extrapolated some 50 or 100 years ahead, such cultural forms as religion, philosophy, education and art make their significant impact. However, philosophy plays a special role of critical methodology in coordinating the futurological efforts. It works as a tuning fork that tunes up the orchestra of various sciences and other forms of social consciousness. Being dialectical, philosophers find out and analyze the contradictions – paradoxes, antinomies, and aporias - involved in such activities as prophesizing, prognosticating, predicting and foreseeing.
On the basis of the retrospective analysis, the author considers the most significant paradoxes facing the futurologists engaged in predicting the general course of historic events; the paradoxes being denoted as follows: the antinomy of academic ignorance, paradox of newness and paradox of an emergent effect. The analysis results in conclusion that the large-scale, long-term «scientific predictions of the future», claiming to be the truth and pretending for historical value and accuracy, are impossible or at least doubtful. Nevertheless, global prognoses are highly valued, widely discussed and always in demand in society due to the purposeful human intellect.
HISTORY OF PEDAGOGY
The paper is dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the children’s organization founded by the well-known writer Vladislav Krapivin. Analyzing the example of «Karavella» – the Experimental Pioneer Detachment, the author outlines the systematic ways of teenagers’ involvement with the mass multi-age organization propagating the strong moral and ethic ideas and values. The process of educational system development in «Karavella» is revealed with the emphasis on active position, empathy, creativity, self-reliance, self-respect, emotional and intellectual independence.
The manifest and underlying factors having an impact on developing the organizational spirit are indicated. The system of psychological support developed during the decades and concerning both children and adults is reviewed, as well as the life arrangement forms combining the romantic, heroic, patriotic and symbolic aspects; educational and social growth; carrier development system with its hierarchy of ranks and titles; collective rules and regulations, and joint management; program methods and methodological provision; teaching staff training etc.
The above organizational programs are based on the notion that the personally valued knowledge has the main priority for teenagers and adolescents because of their strong need for self-actualization. Only due to the personal experience derived in real life conditions the actual personality growth can be achieved. Therefore, the long time expertise of that unique children’s organization is a valuable and up-to- date recourse for those who are responsible for ethic and emotional education of the coming generation.
